About the Program: 
Many clients in Montgomery County and the surrounding area are Federal employees. This session will discuss unique considerations for financial and estate planning for these individuals.

About the Speakers:
Tammy Flanagan is the Senior Benefits Director for the National Institue of Transition Planning, Inc., which has been conducting pre-retirement seminars and workshops throughout the Washington, DC are and beyond. Since 2006, Tammy has authored the popular weekly Retirement Planning column for Government Executive online magazine with more than 250,000 subscribers. She also is a frequent co-host of the For Your Benefit radio program heard on Federal News Network. 

Marc S. Levine has been practicing with his firm, Handler & Levine, LLC, and its predecessor firms, since 1992. Marc regularly represents individuals, including Federal government employees, in preparing their estate plans, consisting of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives and other estate planning tools; represents Estates and Trusts in regard to decedent’s issues and estate tax returns, and represents small and medium size business owners in regard to their estate planning, succession planning and general business issues. Marc has been teaching Federal retirement seminars for the National Institute of Transition Planning for over 20 years, and he developed the curriculum for the Wills, Trusts & Estates class and the Probate in Maryland class, at Montgomery College in Maryland.

  • Fees: No cost for active members; $50 for guests. 
  • Registration begins at 12:00 pm. Lunch will be served at 12:15 pm and the program. begins at 12:30 p.m.
  • Guests are warmly welcome.
  • Free parking. 
  • The meeting will be moved to Zoom if required for the safety of members and guests during the ongoing pandemic.
